Cubeless Island includes a built-in screenshot tool designed to keep your data secure. Because the browser prevents data from leaving the secure environment, this tool lets you capture, annotate, and store images entirely within the browser using the Island Clipboard and Secure Storage.

Where are screenshots saved in Cubeless Island?
Because Cubeless Island is a security-focused browser, screenshots cannot be saved to your local hard drive. Instead, you have two secure internal options:
- Island Clipboard: Saves the image temporarily so you can paste it into other tabs or web apps open within Cubeless Island.
- Secure Storage: Choosing to download a screenshot saves it to the browser's built-in Secure Storage, which acts as an internal file system. From Secure Storage, you can view, rename, compress, delete, or share your files securely within the browser environment.
Note: If a newly captured screenshot does not appear in Secure Storage immediately, click the Refresh icon inside the Secure Storage window to reload the file list.
Can the screenshot tool also record my screen?
Yes. The same tool supports screen recording. After activating it, switch modes to record a video of your screen, with the option to include audio from your microphone.
Note: For full details on screen recording, including supported formats and session controls, see Screen recording in Cubeless Island.
