You and Island
You can turn data syncing across devices on or off, personalize your profile, and import data from other browsers into Cubeless Island.
Browser syncing
The sync feature allows you to sync your browser data like bookmarks, history, passwords, and settings across all your devices that have Cubeless Island installed and are signed in to the same account. Here are some key points:
- Enabling sync: You need to have it enabled on each device you want to sync and be signed in to the same Cubeless account.
-
What it syncs: Bookmarks, history, settings, themes, open tabs, saved tab groups, passwords and passkeys, and more. If enabled by your organization, you can configure what specific data types are synced by going to Sync and other services > Manage what you sync > Customize sync.
- Cross-device syncing: Any Cubeless Island browsers signed in to the same account will sync data through that account, allowing you to access the same information across computers.
Under “Other services” there are two options:
- Make searches and browsing better: Improves overall search and browsing by sending the URLs of the webpages you visit to Cubeless Island. This data helps improve the search functionality and browsing experience.
- Improve search suggestions: Provides better search suggestions by sending what you type in the address bar or search box to Cubeless Island. This helps provide more relevant searches and website addresses.
Customize your Island profile
In Cubeless Island, you get a profile with a customizable name, theme color, and avatar. This allows you to differentiate between multiple profiles, which you can access in the user profile menu (where you can sign out of your user account or switch user profiles).
