Cubeless Island has a handy built-in translation tool, which lets you quickly translate text on web pages from one language to another. To get started using it, you'll need to set your preferred translation language in settings (English is the default).
Quick Guide
- Open Cubeless Island settings
- Go to Languages > Island Translate
- Set preferred translation language
- Translate selection: Highlight text, right-click, choose "Translate selection"
- Translate full page: Visit page in another language, click translate icon in address bar, select language
- Auto-translate: For automatic translation, add language(s) in Settings > Languages > Island Translate
- In the translate panel, click the three dots for more language options
- Refresh page to revert to original language

Set Your Preferred Language
You can change languages manually on the fly; however, it's more convenient to have a preferred default language selected following the below steps.
1. Click the Cubeless Island menu icon in the top right corner and click Settings.
2. Click Languages in the left menu and look under the “Island Translate” section.
3. Click the drop-down menu next to “Translate into this language” and select your preferred language.
Translate a Selection of Text
1. To translate a text selection, highlight the text you want to translate with your mouse cursor.
2. Right-click on the highlighted text.
3. In the menu that appears, click Translate selection to [Language].
4. Cubeless Island will then open a panel below the translate icon displaying the translated text.
Note: The translate icon will appear to the right of the address bar when you visit a page in a language other than your set preferred language.
5. Within the translate panel, you can choose a different target language by clicking the three dots.
Translate a Full Web Page
1. To translate an entire web page, click the translate icon.
2. Click English (or your preferred language, if different). Within a few seconds, the entire page will be translated and displayed in the selected language.
Note: When you refresh the page, it will go back to the original language.
3. To translate to another language, click the three dots and then click Choose Another Language.
Note: Alternatively, you can browse to the desired page, right-click, and click Translate to [Language], or click Translate on the Cubeless Island menu to translate the page to your default language.
Automatically Translate Web Pages
You can also set Cubeless Island to automatically translate pages in specific languages by following these steps:
1. Go to Settings > Languages > Island Translate (as outlined above).
2. Next to "Automatically translate these languages," click Add languages, search for the desired language(s), select it/them, and click Add.
3. The language(s) will be listed under “Automatically translate these languages.”
Now, when you visit a web page in a listed language, it will be automatically translated to your preferred language.
This is also evident by the translate icon showing your preferred language highlighted instead of the page’s original language.
