Cubeless Island’s Cast, Save, and Share menu offers multiple ways to share web pages. Here's how to access it:
1. Click the Cubeless Island menu icon in the top right corner.
2. Select Cast, Save, and Share to display a sub-menu with several sharing options.

1. Access the Menu: Click the Cubeless Island menu icon in the top right corner and select Cast, Save, and Share.
2. Cast to TV:
- Ensure your computer and TV device (e.g., Chromecast) are on the same Wi-Fi network.
- Cast a Tab: Choose a device from the Cast list to display a single tab on the TV.
- Cast Your Screen: Click Sources at the bottom of the Cast list, select Cast screen, and then choose a device to display your entire screen on the TV.
3. Save Web Pages:
- Click Save Page As to download a web page for offline access (if enabled by your administrator).
4. Create Shortcuts:
- Use Create Shortcut to make a quick link to your favorite sites.
- On Windows, this creates a shortcut on your desktop.
- On macOS, it creates a shortcut file in the Applications/Island Apps folder, which you can then drag to your desktop for easier access.
5. Share Across Devices:
- Copy Link: Share links via email or messaging apps.
- Send to Your Devices: Share web pages between devices signed in to the same Cubeless Island account.
- Create QR Code: Generate a QR code for easy sharing via scanning.

Cast from Cubeless Island to your TV
The Cast option enables content sharing by projecting your computer screen to a TV. This gives you the ability to show a single browser tab or your complete desktop, making it easy to share information with a group.
To do this, you'll need an Android TV or a special device connected to your TV: Chromecast, Chromecast with Google TV, Google TV Streamer (4K), Chromecast Ultra, or TV with Google Cast. Your computer and this device must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Cast a Cubeless Island Tab: You can show a single Cubeless Island tab (like a website or a video) on your TV by selecting a device from the Cast list.
Note: The device list varies based on your home's connected devices.
Cast Your Computer Screen: You can display everything that's on your computer screen on your TV by clicking Sources at the bottom of the Cast list, selecting Cast screen, and then selecting a device.
Most web content can be cast, but some special add-ons or plugins might not work, like Silverlight, QuickTime, and VLC.
When you cast a video, you'll see it on both your computer and TV, but the sound will only come from your TV's speakers. Sounds from other tabs and apps will still play on your computer.
Save web pages for offline access
The Save Page As option allows you to download a web page for offline access. However, the feature needs to be enabled by your Cubeless administrator.
To save a web page locally, click on Save Page As in the sub-menu. Cubeless Island will prompt you to choose a location on your device and customize the filename.
If this feature isn’t enabled for your organization, you’ll see a prompt letting you know that the option is disabled.
Create a direct access point
If you want faster access to your go-to sites, the Create Shortcut option comes in handy. Click on Create Shortcut in the sub-menu, use the pre-filled title taken from the web page or enter your own, and click Create. Cubeless Island will automatically create a shortcut file on your desktop for easy access to the site.
Note: Mac users may need to open Finder and from the Home directory browse to Applications and then Island Apps to find their shortcut files. However, you can then drag the file to your Desktop to move it there for easier access.
Share across devices
Copy Link: Copy the link of the web page to the clipboard. You can then share the link in an email, private message, Slack post, etc.
Send to Your Devices: Send the web page to another device.
1. Ensure you're signed in to the same Cubeless Island account on both devices.
2. Go to Cast, Save, and Share > Send to Your Devices, or right-click anywhere on the page and click Send to Your Devices.
3. Cubeless Island will display a list of all your synced devices.
4. Select the desired target device to receive the web page instantly.
Share using QR codes
Create QR Code: Quickly generate a QR code for the current web page, which you can then share or download to your device.
Go to Cast, Save, and Share > Create QR Code, or right-click anywhere on the page and click Create QR Code for this page.
Cubeless Island will generate a unique QR code containing the web page link.

Copy: Copy the QR code as an image and paste it into a message or email for easy sharing.

Download: Save the QR code image to Cubeless Secure Storage for later use.
- Scan the code: Use another device's camera app to scan the code and instantly access the web page.
