Reading Mode is a feature that removes distractions and customizes the reading experience. It's found in the Settings menu or can be pinned to the Cubeless Island toolbar for easier access.
How does Reading Mode work?
When you enable Reading Mode, Cubeless Island strips away all multimedia content from the web page, leaving only the text. It then provides options to adjust the font, size, spacing, and background color to make the text easier to read according to your preferences.
How to use Reading Mode
1. Navigate to a website with the text you want to read.
2. Click the Cubeless Island menu icon in the top right corner.
3. Hover your mouse over More Tools and click Reading Mode.
4. Reading Mode will open in the side panel, displaying the webpage's text without any images or videos.
5. Use the toolbar at the top of the side panel to customize your reading experience:
- Font: Click the down arrow and select a new font style
- Font size: Use the A- and A+ buttons to increase or decrease the font size
- Links: Use the link button to turn links in the text on or off
- Color theme: Click the color palette icon to choose a different background color
- Line height: Click the lines icon to adjust the sentence spacing
- Letter spacing: Click the A⇔ icon to adjust the spacing between letters
6. As you make adjustments, the text side panel will update accordingly.
7. Additionally, there's a pin icon at the top right of the panel. Clicking it will add the Reading Mode icon to your Cubeless Island toolbar for quick access.
8. When done, click the X to close Reading Mode.
