Bookmarks let you save websites so you can quickly visit them without typing out the full web address. You can also organize bookmarks into folders to make them easier to navigate. Here’s how to add, remove, and find bookmarks in Cubeless Island.
Add a bookmark
1. Go to the site you want to save for later.
2. To the right of the address bar, click the Star icon (which shows “Bookmark this tab” when you hover over it). The page will then be saved to your bookmarks.
3. If needed, you can edit the name and the folder the bookmark is saved to before clicking Done. If no changes are required, click Done.
Remove a bookmark
Removing a bookmark is similar to saving one.
1. Open the bookmarked site.
2. To the right of the address bar, click the Star icon.
3. Click Remove.
Find a bookmark
The easiest way to open a bookmark is to click on it in the Bookmarks bar, which is displayed underneath the address bar.
To show or hide the bookmarks bar, click the Cubeless Island menu icon, hover your mouse over the Bookmarks and Lists menu item, and click Show Bookmarks Bar.
If you don’t have the bookmarks bar showing, or your bookmark isn't there, there are three other ways to find your bookmarks.
From the address bar
1. In the address bar, type “@bookmarks” (at sign and “bookmarks” without a space) and press tab or space right after.
Note: You can also click the Search Bookmarks option in the search suggestions.
2. Enter one or more keywords for the bookmark you want to find.
3. Click the desired bookmark from the list of results that match the keyword(s) you’ve entered.
From the menu
1. Click the Cubeless Island menu icon in the top right corner.
2. Hover your mouse over the Bookmarks and Lists menu item. Your bookmarks will be displayed at the bottom of the menu. If you have folders, you can hover your mouse over a folder to view its contents.
3. Click a bookmark to open it in the current tab, or hold command (on Mac) or control (on Windows and Linux) while clicking to open it in a new tab.
From the navigation panel
1. Click on the side panel icon located at the top-right corner of the browser window to open it.
2. You’ll see a menu at the top, which is set to “Reading List” by default. Click the down arrow, and then click Bookmarks.
3. Click on a location and then on a bookmark to open it in the current tab, or hold command (on Mac) or control (on Windows and Linux) while clicking to open it in a new tab.
4. You can also search through your bookmarks using the search bar at the top of the sidebar.
